Order data used for printing
SlipPress reads Shopify order information needed to search and render merchant-requested documents, including order names, customer email, shipping destination, phone where available, line items, notes, shipping method, tags, financial and fulfillment status, and Shopify-reported totals, discounts, shipping, and tax.
That live order data is used inside the authenticated merchant workflow. SlipPress does not sell it, use it for advertising, or create customer marketing profiles.
What SlipPress stores
SlipPress stores Shopify session records for authentication. It also stores a merchant-controlled workspace in an app-owned Shopify metafield: document profiles, the selected default profile, and bounded print-run history.
Document profiles can contain store/trading name, ABN or tax ID, support email, return/business address, footer copy, and visibility preferences. Print history stores order names, document type, order count, profile name, and timestamp. It does not store customer email, phone, or shipping address in print history.
Retention and uninstall
Print history is automatically bounded by plan tier. Merchants can remove individual runs or clear history from the app. Shopify sessions are deleted when the uninstall webhook is received. App-owned installation metafields are tied to the Shopify app installation.
Tax documents
SlipPress displays Shopify-reported tax on live orders. It does not infer tax when Shopify reports zero tax. Merchants are responsible for whether a generated document meets their legal, tax, and record-keeping requirements.
